how do i remove the bike hold down straps on a saris bones bike rack? the straps that hold the bicycle. it's a three bike rack & i'm only using two

Bike Racks: Saris Bones 2 or 3? Bike Racks: I am looking at the Saris Bones 2 or 3 for my Infiniti G35 Sedan. I am worried about scratching or denting my deck lid. Does anyone know about this rack from past experience. Are the feet soft rubber? What other rack would you recommend?

Best trunk bike racks for electra cruisers? I am getting my GF an Electra cruiser and was wondering if trunk racks were durable enough to hold that kind of weight. Do you pad your bike rack? If nothing else, I am boosting the points of you same 5 people that answer my zillions of newbie questions! So here is another. I got the Saris Bones 2 bike rack today and so far it seems like it will do the trick beautifully. My question is, does anyone pad the little clips? The "bones" themselves have awesome rubber pads for contact with the back windshield/bumper, but the clips themselves seem like they would scratch things up. Anyone use that rack and use any kind of rubber inserts on the clips? Is the little laminate they put on the clips enough to save your car's paint job? I'd rather ask now and see what people have done, than just dive in and end up with 4-6 clip marks all over my car's paint job. I'd also hate to go through all the trouble of putting adhesive rubber pads (those little 1/8th inch thick "tape rubber") on all the clips when it is over kill. Any ideas? Im guessing about 5-10 min before both Bob A and Soccerref have answered. :P

What is the best bicycle trunk rack in the market? I own a MTB (Trek 4300 disc) and a road bike(Bianchi Eros),my car is a '08 Dodge Charger.I'm looking for a bicycle trunk car that will help me to transport my bikes without scratching my car.So far,I narrow my search to 2 options:Saris Bones 3 and Thule 962XT,I read mixed reviews on both of them from really good to horrible,my question is: which one is better? I need the opinion from someone that at one point owned either one of them and decided to switch to the other.Thank you.

Indian hips/Saris/Hips-general? Hi. I'm an Indian living in America. I have hips. I mean, HIPS! They're not where my hips should be...at least not where these "American" gals are... They're higher up. And they don't curve right. They come (huge) and go. My hip bone is flat, right above that, hippy fat. Anywho, what I'm wondering is...is this an Indian thing? I'm 122. I'm 100% full blood Indian. I eat Indian food, American too. I eat A LOT of rice lol. And, really important to me, would a sari be helpful or horrific to my figure? Anybody got a similar figure? Is there a difference in bike racks? We were looking to a get a new bike rack for our car so we could transport our bikes without having to constantly take off the front wheels and such. We need a two bike, trunk mounted, rack for our car. We don't have a hitch installed, so it has to be trunk mounted. The local shop here has a few different racks, but they all seem drastically more expensive than something at a discount store. My question is, is this one of those times where you don't have to get the name brand stuff? I mean, is there that big of a difference between the $30 Wal*Mart 2 bike rack, vs the Saris 2 Bone $129.99 bike rack? While I know the more expensive ones look more sturdy, we have road bikes that don't weigh very much. The rack itself weighs more than our bikes combined, heh. What are the pros/cons in just going to Wal*Mart/Target to get a rack instead of dishing out the name brand cash? (We ride Trek 1.1s, so we want to make sure it does hold our bikes safely.) Is the only difference, one is more sturdy?

Any longtime CSI Miami fans? Can you tell me more about Horatio's brother Ray/Tinman, Yelina, Susie & Madison? I just recently started watching the show, the first show I saw was when Horatio was shot & it looked like he had died. I have also been watching old episodes on other channels, so I'm trying to get the story lines straight. I might not have all the names right, but I think Yelina used to be married to Horatio's brother Ray, but I've never seen him in any of the episodes I've watched. At first I couldn't tell because when I first saw her Horatio handed her a lot of money to give to Ron Saris, so at first I thought her & Horatio had a thing. Then out of nowhere Horatio started taking care of Susie & her daughter Madison(?) & she got sick & she needed a bone marrow transplant & Horatio wasn't a match, so he asked Yelina if Ray Jr. could be tested since he is family, since they have the same father. I think I got that part right. But a week or so ago, I was watching an old episode with a bunch of meth heads in a trailer park & I'm pretty sure that was the same Susie under the dog house, but there was no sign of her having a child. 1.) Was Horatio's brother a bad cop that did meth & that's why they called him TinMan? Did he know Susie had his daughter? 2.) When & how did he die? 3.) When did Horatio find out Susie had a daughter that was Ray's? Oh also, I know Horatio has a son name Kyle with Julia Winston, was she a call girl? I was confused when I heard her calling him John something? How did he meet her?

What the heck should I do? I just got a horse, Sari, at the beginning of this month. She is a rescue, and has not been worked/ridden in a year. Ive been lunging her, and shes been a good girl. Recently, I decided to try and ride her (shes "well broke" according to the last owners, and they sat on her but didnt ride) and she was fine with putting on the saddle, but when i went to get on her, she FREAKED out and ran. She doesn thave a mean bone in her, and doesnt want to *hurt* me or anybody else. What should I do? okay, heres the thing: she was well broke before they got her, then all they did was sit on her. I'm not inexperienced with horses-if i were, i would not have one and i would NOT have a rescue!! I hhave AT LEAST three years experience with horses-just not ones like this.
